Jay-Z & Alicia Keys to Give Duet Another Try at AMAs

Fans will have another chance to see Jay-Z and Alicia Keys perform their New York anthem “Empire State of Mind” next month. Extra TV is reporting that the duo will be hitting the stage at the American Music Awards.

Lil Mama notoriously crashed Hov and Keys’ set last September during the MTV Video Music Awards. Only time will tell if a similar stunt will interrupt this performance.

“We are thrilled to have Jay-Z and Alicia Keys on stage together, both are such talented artists, it’s sure to be a memorable performance,” the ceremony’s producer Larry Klein told Extra.

The two NY natives will join an all-star roster which already includes the Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and American Idol alum Adam Lambert. The American Music Awards are set to air on Sunday, November 22 on ABC
